Olympic Analysis

The ubiquitous Olympic "medal table" lists events won, by country, but this is pretty simplistic. Team events are different than individual events, countries send different numbers of athletes and are of different sizes, certain regions dominate particular sports. We put all the medal and medalist data from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games into Needle, and then took it apart again by country, athlete, sport, continent, age, gender, delegation, population, and various combinations of those. Click here to see what we found.
