API Keys

On Friday September 9 we made a change to the way our APIs work. If you are using any Needlebase APIs, read this post to prevent your scripts from failing.
In the past, you could make API calls by supplying your account login and password with the request. It's now necessary to supply an API Key with your login instead of your regular account password. You can obtain an API Key by clicking Request API Key in the popup window raised by clicking on the account link in your my.needlebase.com start page after logging in.
Documentation has been updated to reflect this change. In particular the page https://my.needlebase.com/docs/NeedleReferenceAPIKeys.html gives an example of the use of the API Key with the commonly available third party tool, curl.
